I use Bio-Oil. It's relatively cheap and you can probably find it in most drugstores. However, it takes a lot of persistance to be able to see results. I bought the larger bottle for about AU$20.

Another product I've heard about is Egyptian Magic. Many people swear by it. It comes in at $36 for a 4 oz jar. I think this is US dollars.Heey a cream\lotion to even out skin tone?
Hi there,

Quick fix for uneven toned skin would be to use a foundation. To find your right shade you should use a colour that blends in completely along your jaw line. This way as you apply it to your face, it wont change your tone but will even it out. Oh, and most makes are the same, no need for anything expensive.

Best of luck, Stuart
any drugstore moisturizer w/ spf %26gt;=15 use it consistently it takes time to see results - maybe 2 bottles of consistent use. Don't forget your neck %26amp; back of neck.

only use fade creme for spots. It will dry out and burn your skin and make it more severe.
try jergens lotion 4 a tan
NOTE鈥 HAVE WRITTEN THIS LONG ANSWER TO RESPOND TO QUESTIONS RELATING TO BECAUSE THEY COME UP SO OFTEN:

OILY SKIN

ACNE

FACIAL LIGHTENING

DEALING WITH ACNE SCARRING

DEALING WITH STRETCH MARKS

IMPROVING SKIN TONE

PIMPLES

BLACKHEADS

EMERGENCY SPOT TREATMENT

INGROWING HAIRS

BODY ACNE

鈥HE INFO鈥橲 BASED ON MY OWN EXPERIENCE. I鈥橫 36 NOW SO I鈥橵E HAD TO DEAL WITH THESE ISSUES FOR QUITE A WHILE AND THOUGH MUCH OF THIS ANSWER MAY BE IRRELEVANT, I HOPE THERE'LL BE SOMETHING THAT CAN HELP YOU!

GOOD LUCK!!!

RECOMMENDED SKIN CARE鈥 use clean and clear cream wash (good for sensitive skin or those that dry to easy) or Neutrogena clear skin make up remover wash. Both contain salicylic acid which prevents breakouts and gradually evens the skin tone out too. This is the most important thing you can do. I鈥檝e tried various 鈥榦il free鈥?鈥檚alicylic acid鈥?moisturisers but the best I鈥檝e found is the clean and clear on鈥 found the Neutrogena one actually seemed to aggravate my skin.

EMERGENCY SPOT TREATMENT!...The toothpaste things works! Put on a blob at night and put a bit of tissue over it so it doesn't make a mess. It cools the area down and reduces the inflammation. I also recommend the clean and clear advantage spot treatment gel.

HORMONAL SPOTS鈥ny female with spots I'd recommend trying dianette or yasmine contraceptive pills because if it's hormonal that can sort everything out within weeks鈥hough it can take a couple of months to get used to the pill.

FACIAL ACNE: AVOID鈥on't use harsh scrubs and peroxide products daily like some people do; that can dry your skin and make produce MORE oil...just exacerbating the problem. Many face packs I鈥檝e tried and those blackhead removal strips too seem to have caused problems.

I鈥檝e also had problems with those 鈥榝acial wipes鈥?made by clean and clear and Neutrogena because they鈥檙e too drying and when the top layer鈥檚 too dry, the oil gets stuck underneath and causes more problems!

Some say chocolate doesn鈥檛 affect it鈥t does for me and I don鈥檛 know how or why that should be but certain foods do seem to affect break out. Coffee is one of those things that seems to aggravate my skin too. So look out for anything you eat that might be making it worse.

HAIR PRODUCTS鈥e careful what products you use in your hair if it's long - certain conditioners have causes me to break out at times. Also be careful of hair gels, hair sprays and serums.

INGROWING HAIRS鈥or men or women鈥f you have oily skin, these are more likely. For men鈥se a facial scrub and avoid moisturisers that don鈥檛 have salicylic acid in them if you use a moisturiser. Some hair conditioners are much better lubricants than shaving cream too 鈥?so you might want to try that, and then was afterwards with a clean and clear was etc. Also I recommend the microdermabrasion kit mentioned later.

For women鈥axing seems to cause the main problem 鈥?we pay most attention to our faces. Waxing seems to be the main culprit as opposed to shaving or hair removal creams鈥o avoid in-growing hairs, make sure to exfoliate. I recommend using those exfoliating gloves 鈥?that way, you can use any kind of shower gel.

NUTRITION鈥 recommend taking a 100% multi vitamin/mineral complex 鈥?those little spots you get around your mouth can be due to a vitamin b deficiency for example. Also I recommend Omega 369 oils every day because they improve blood flow.

OLD WIVES TALE??...It's an 'old wives tale' type remedy - but a spoonful of cider vinegar and honey in hot water 3 times a day is meant to help EVERYTHING. It tastes nice too...kinda like honey and lemon X

HYDRATION鈥?Keep your hydration right by drinking plenty of water, avoiding caffeine and alcohol and too much salt!

DEALING WITH SCARRING鈥here鈥檚 an excellent micro-dermabrasion scrub called 鈥榬e-finish鈥? by L'oreal. You only use it a couple of times a week (and use at night because it makes your face red!). It really works not just with the colouring but also the texture - smoothes it back out. It comes with it's own moisturiser which I don't use but I use the scrub at night a couple of times a week and put bio oil on which it supposed to help clear scarring and even skin tone.

If you get your skin relatively under control, try using '21 days Fade Cream' (which I get from eBay) because it quickly clears up any scarring. It鈥檚 a skin lightening cream and is very effective as long as your skin type agrees with it. Bio oil is a good alternative!

Also, to detract from the colour variations in your skin tone, I recommend using Benefit鈥檚 Posie Tint or Benetint lipstain 鈥?this can be put on your cheeks and lips (which also makes your teeth look whiter as an added bonus). Lipstain is better than lipstick because it doesn鈥檛 smudge and it stays on; you can put lip balm or lip gloss on over it. Also, if you use it (SPARINGLY) on your cheeks, it is just like putting water on there; it doesn鈥檛 aggravate the skin or cause breakouts.

Ive been using this cream on my face to treat fungus, and where i apply it,the skin is lighter(the tone color)

ive been using it 3-4 times a day for a month, will it go away?Ive been using this cream on my face to treat fungus, and where i apply it,the skin is lighter(the tone color)
The same thing happened to me too and now i have vitaligo (no pigment in certain areas of the skin on my face, hands, arms.) I hope that this has not happened to you too! Sorry! Mine has been around for over a year and will probably not go away without laser treatment. See a dermatologist to be evaluated to find out for sure what your issue is. Good luck!Ive been using this cream on my face to treat fungus, and where i apply it,the skin is lighter(the tone color)
Are you saying that the cream is making your skin lighter where you apply it or that you are applying the cream on the lighter areas of your skin which would be the fungus. Lighter areas on the skin caused by fungus do not tan in the sun, that is why the areas are lighter. You have probably killed the fungus by now and your skin will begin to even out after you stop using the cream.
some creams for the face have small amounts for bleach in them. (proactive) i would stop the treatment, and ask your doctor.
Omg.....today i got this medicen to treat fungus/yeast infection, and i have to use it on my lip because my lip started to crack on one side because i had a yeast infection, i thought it was a cold sore, cause it looked like one, but anyways i dont no the awnser to your question but that sounds bad, you must be like freckin out, srry bout that.

Lots of Love,Sara
ask your dermataligest
Probably. Either you're noticing this because it's no tbeing fully absorbed and therefore making your skin appear lighter in tone or, the cream contains peroxide (good at disinfecting things like fungi and bacteria) which is bleaching your skin. Once you stop using it, your skin should go back to normal.

Good foundation cream for a dry skin .....................I have a dry and brown skin tone ..?

When ever i apply any foundation ,i land up with creases on my face and it looks very artificial and sometimes i am alllergic to these foundations .so most of the times i dont use it but i need some gooooooooood foundation to hide my skin tone and blemishes.Please help me to select a foundation which is goood as well as not very costly .Thanks !!!!!!!!!!!!!!Good foundation cream for a dry skin .....................I have a dry and brown skin tone ..?
My expertise...

Mary Kay has 7 different types of foundation in all different shades that can meet the needs of any skin type. The trick to having a foundation that blends properly is to have own formulated to your skin, depending on how oily or dry you are. It is also important to always match it with the color of your neck and not your face. Your face gets more color and naturally is darker, so if you wear a foundation that is that color you are going to end up with the line below your chin.

As the girl said above, there is a medium coverage foundation, however it is not best for dry skin. It is designed for oily or combo skin. The perfect and best blending foundation I have found in my life is actually Mary Kay and it is their classic formula of Day Radiance. I use it personally, alond with my mom, 2 aunts, and stepmom.

For more help you can visit the website and even call me with any questions, as my number is on there.Good foundation cream for a dry skin .....................I have a dry and brown skin tone ..?
Body shop do a lovely foundation, for many different skin colours, and types. There is a moisture foundation i use with thier foundation brush (which hides the creases) the foundation helps with dry skin. And also if you use the brush the foundation lasts a whole lot longer because it smooths it over a larger area and more evenly.
Bare Minerals- it is absolutely the best I have tried. I apply a good amount of Arbonne moisturizer and let it dry then apply my bare minerals powder it is a great concealer for blemishes and uneven skin tones. It blends flawlessly and looks completely natural it even gives a bit of a glow that is wonderful. It may seem costly at first although it last for very long time and refills are only 25$ the start up kit although is 75$ it includes 2 things of foundation, blush, and brushes. Also check with arbonne they have great products as well.... They offer a mineral makeup that is a bit cheaper although I haven't tried it yet I love all other products.
If you're looking for liquid, Clinique is pretty good expecially for sensitive skin. But for the poswder version, Bare Minerals is really good. Maybe you need to find a better moisturizer.
Fashion Fair Foundation looks flawless on dry skin. I use bronze glow. It dosent dry the skin out and it has vitamin E and other good stuff in it to help the skin fight acne. It will run u about $20 might be a little costly but it is well worth the price.
I have dry skin too, and I definitely vote for Chanel's foundation, I use this one, and there is the details you can check out:

http://beauty-tricks.com/index.php?optio鈥?/a>

But they have a new one which is a creamy foundation, if you think the liquid is not quite working, the Chanel creamy one is definitely your choice - my friend tried it and love it so much and she re-buy 3 times!

    Why do black girls ask for what type of bleach cream will make their skin tone lighter?

    I only want to find a bleach cream to get rid of the pigment on my underarms and other places, If you read that please provide an answer for me. But while I was looking for bleach cream on answers I found many girls saying they hate being black. Would you belive society has shaped black womens lives into thinking lighter skin is better? This upsets me because Im a black girl myself. But why does everyone have a low self confindence. Im pretty happy with my skin color. I dont burn in the sun. No offense to anyone but when you think about it people always want a tan. I think everyone is beautiful, the world has many different color shades of people. And thats what I love about it!! Everyones different so I dont think people should hate themselves.Why do black girls ask for what type of bleach cream will make their skin tone lighter?
    THIS black woman wouldn't use any bleaching creams...even at gunpoint!

    Why?

    Well, first of all, I don't feel a need to alter the color of my complexion. All this business about light skinned vs dark skinned girls should've been left back in the 19th century! Ridiculous.

    Secondly, those creams are VERY dangerous!

    Do you know that the active ingredient in those creams, hydroxyquinone, is the SAME stuff used to develop camera film? YES... gross, huh? Those creams also have neurotoxins such as Mercury in them, too. Also, the bleaching creams sold in the UK also reputed to have steroids in them, too...and that we know is definitely not safe!

    There have been a number of cases in both Africa and Europe where people have died from the continued use of such ';cosmetics.'; If you ask me, they should be banned completely and if not banned then very strongly discouraged!

    Nope, best to love oneself...no matter what the ';trend'; may be...and to encourage that in our daughters and granddaughters.Why do black girls ask for what type of bleach cream will make their skin tone lighter?
    blame it on the media for manipulating the concept of beauty and anything good in this world.

    if you are white you are beautiful, if you are sexy, you would be more attractive, if you are rich, you are happy, if you smoke you are cool. thats all media!
    ';But while I was looking for bleach cream on answers I found many girls saying they hate being black.';

    They were most probably white girls pretending to be black on yahoo answers..
    your lyin like a mother ******

    Dose any one know were i can get a great bleach cream, to lightin my skin tone.?

    as you all know iam black, and i hate being black. so ive been lookin for a bleach cream, to lightin up my skin tone. please dont tell me to go see a doctor, i want a cream were i can do it my self, at home. and yes i have issues but who doesnt. i hate my race, and i dont want to be black any more.Dose any one know were i can get a great bleach cream, to lightin my skin tone.?
    Dont bleach your skin. Sadly in today's culture your skin is no longer what makes you black or white. People judge this on how you act based on whats portrayed by the media. You shouldnt hate your race, but if you do, your skin tone really has nothing to do with it. My suggestion would be for you to go to the docter. Not the skin docter, a pychologist. You need to work out those self esteem issues.

    Plus, most people have horrible results when they try to lighten or darken their skin. Don't waist your time.Dose any one know were i can get a great bleach cream, to lightin my skin tone.?
    Definitely your problem is not your skin tone. It's your self esteem. There is no one definition of beauty. I'm milk chocolate and loving it. I don't burn in the sun. I have a wonderful glowing sheen when I'm wet because the light reflects so well off of dark and lovely skin.

    Embrace your color. In Europe, they would adore you for your skin. Think about it - why do fair skinned people kill themselves to get DARKER?
    Haven't you learned anything from Michael Jackson? Color of your skin doesn't matter, but when you look like a zombie, then everyone thinks you look ugly. I'm sure you look good just the way you are.
    Maybe your just fishing for compliments...your very cute.

    The only dr. I suggest is a psychiatrist...you are black learn to love it...'cause you can't change it. By the way, Everyone with straigh hair wants it curly, everyone with curly hair wants it straight, people think they are too fat or too skinny, almost no one likes everything about themselves (the ones that do are stuck up witches) Just try to make the best of who you are.
    Girl you are trippin. Its nothing wrong with loving who you are. Why would you want to be something that you are not? Apparently your parents didn't do a good job at showing you to love your race or yourself and also you must hang out with allot of people who arent black because you have an identity crisis. Just because you change you skin color don't mean you wont be black anymore. lol... People are still gonna look at you as a ';black girl';. Also, people are laughing at you when you say that you don't want to be black anymore. Like you can really change that???? Love who you are and go see a physiologist for your self hatred.
    nothing wrong with improving one's self esteem;

    good skin lighteners/bleachers should be safe;

    without hydroquinone or mercury or steroids;

    add a high spf (45 or better) sunscree;

    your favorite moisturizers + vitamin C.
